In 2009, due to operator absenteeism, MGW did not make it out of the yard.

But we’re back for 2010!  No service cuts or fare hikes will prevent the delivery of this transit lifeline.  With the help of both returning veterans and a new class of young operators, we promise to deliver the most robust and reliable mode of transportation that San Francisco has ever seen.

And MGW plans to double the fleet!  Responding to customer demands for increased capacity, MGW is calling on all craftspeople and operators to help construct a second bus. Open enrollment to be announced soon.

Don’t forget to register.  MGW calls on all transportation users to pay their fair share.

The bus is almost finished!

Only the highest-skilled laborers will suffice!  Out of thousands of applicants, these craftspeople were selected from the Muni Cable Car shop.

MGW is proud to report that the Bay to Breakers chassis has arrived.  No sooner had the last bolt been assembled before the bus was stormed by WILD Muni enthusiasts!

As we all know, a solid Muni bus begins with a solid chassis.  That’s why, after heavy deliberation, the MGW Executive Board decided to stick with Muni tradition and order the heaviest, most durable steel chassis available to serve as the base of the bus. 

With a capacity of over 1000 pounds, this bus will not be breaking down.

The 2008 Muni Gone WILD Bay to Breakers Conceptual Float has been released. The idea is to build a Muni bus out of plywood. It will carry passengers, beer and music.

Construction is slated to start in late March. MGW wants YOU!
